Continuation of the adventures of the same heroes as in the previous books "Corrector", Southern frontier, the Law of Life and the Cruel Path. The main character saves the world of his beloved, but is faced with her betrayal and the alienation of her comrades. He and his friends achieve victory in the most difficult circumstances, in a war with the hostile Lord Orns. The lands of his Mistress are expanding. Ultimately, the hero saves the world, people and the Lady of his former beloved, but in return he receives only ingratitude...
