The book tells the story of the great martyr warrior Evgeniy Rodionov, who did not want to part with his pectoral cross. He, along with his fellow soldiers - three border guards - fell into the trap of Chechen captivity in 1996 and was executed for refusing to convert to Islam. The place of execution is the forests near the village of Bamut, Achkhoy-Martan district. It is impossible to describe the entire tragedy of the heroic deed of Yevgeny Aleksandrovich Rodionov in this poetic work... The publication is replete with scenes of humiliation and torment of Russian soldiers; which causes even greater pity for them among the readership. But it is not tears alone that attract the Russian average person to the book, but pride in the unbroken soldiers, their faith in Christ, and the sincerity with which the author sets out the essence of the story itself. Of course, the poet could have written this poem earlier, but either he lacked the determination and experience, or the courage to take this step. And I wrote it as God intended. Contains obscene language.
