The book is devoted to the study of the main events of the Russian-Lithuanian war of 1512–1522. - the capture of Smolensk and the battle of Orsha. Based on a large number of sources, the author examines in detail the course of the 1514 campaign: preparations for war, the forces of the parties, military operations. The book is addressed to a wide readership: teachers and students of higher and secondary educational institutions, as well as everyone interested in both the military and general history of the Fatherland.
