Suffering. Human life is shrouded in it. We come into this world in suffering and leave it in it, often without knowing either the meaning of our own existence or the Universe in which we were destined to be born. We are blind kittens who poke into the chest of the existence around us in the hope of clinging to the treasured nipple and at least for a moment feeling the sweet milk of life. But if kittens eventually open their closed eyelids, then we will never be able to do this. And it is great luck if one of us manages to overcome and find ourselves in our short period of existence, even in such a harsh, unfriendly world. We are cursed, but we still lift our heads, looking with hope at the bright stars twinkling in the frightening and fascinating depths of space, and hoping for someone who will come and throw off the shackles of our endless suffering.
