Three stories, united by the theme of a dying village, but not yet completely disappeared. In each story, the author introduces the reader to either a small discovery or a small tragedy; to some it may seem small and insignificant. But this, oddly enough, is the essence of human existence. Shades of the characters' feelings, small details of the characters' actions are not given explicitly. The correct intonation of openness and sincerity speaks of truth. The author succeeded in the main thing: poetry grows out of everyday life, since the stories are raised to a philosophical sound: “By cutting off the roots, they kill the tree. Otherwise, you won’t be able to fell a hundred-year-old oak.”
