In 2004, the Girl Detective series replaced Detective Stories. In these books, the stories are written in the first person, Nancy herself describes all the actions and events. The characters' characters were updated. In 2012, the series ended, the new series was called The Nancy Drew Diaries.

AST Publishing publishes this series under the title Stories about Nancy Drew. New investigations.
