Arkaim and the “Country of Cities”: Archaeological Essays. Chelyabinsk: Crocus Publishing House, 2003.

In the summer of 1987, in the south of the Chelyabinsk region, on the eastern slopes of the Ural Mountains, a unique complex of archaeological monuments of the Bronze Age “Arkaim” was discovered. Today Arkaim is not only a wonderful monument of antiquity that makes you look at the history of the Eurasian steppes differently, but also a historical and landscape museum-reserve, a center for comprehensive scientific research and, finally, simply a “beautiful” and “strange” place that annually attracts thousands people of various spiritual and social orientations. It is very important that Arkaim makes us think not only about the past, but also about the future.
