For “Chronic Lovers of the Earth,” the impetus (in terms of form) was Andrei Bely’s “Symphonies,” especially the 2nd. “Lovers” is a sort of prose poem made up of small fragments. Along with life impressions, refracted, however, by poetic fantasy, the author “boldly” introduces his dreams into the text. Thus, the passage “Execution”, where the “Friendship” saw and a drill with a drill fly after the hero, trying to kill him, are based on a real dream.
