The hot and stressful summer has come to an end, it’s time for Tomka to return to classes with a tutor. Ahead of her is the last kindergarten year, after which school looms. Private teacher Tatyana Kazmina, from whom Tomka is learning writing and reading, lives at number thirteen on Topolinaya Street. On the first visit of the new school year, Anton learns about a series of terrible and tragic events: murders, suicides, accidents, minor troubles - it seems that a new house with an unlucky number, which has not stood for even a year, is haunted by an evil fate. Tatyana claims that a serious threat looms over the high-rise building, the nature of which lies beyond the usual ideas about the world. And there is no one to ask for help. Anton and Tomka are drawn into a new fight against Evil.
