Continuation of the adventures of private detective and single father Anton Danilov and his six-year-old daughter Tamara. Tomka is growing up. She begins to be afraid of the dark and horror films, which she recently delighted in, and asks questions about life and death. Anton is trying to dispel her fears in all the ways known to him. Meanwhile, the harsh everyday life of a private detective throws up a new task: a pensioner, former history teacher Nina Zakharyeva is haunted by the ghost of her nephew, who died in a car accident six months ago. He comes to her at night, creaks the floorboards and rattles the dishes. Anton’s version, based on the assumption of the shattered psyche of a woman who has lost all her loved ones, is dismissed after an unexpected turn: on her last night visit, the ghost leaves a piece of paper with a mobile phone number on the table of the room. Pulling on a thin thread, Anton unravels a story that turns his ideas upside down about good and evil. The evening ceases to be languid.
