The End of the Chapter trilogy is adjacent to the Forsyte series. The reader will again meet here the heroes familiar to him from the “Saga”: Fleur, Michael, Lady Mont and others. The main character of the trilogy, Dinny Cherrell, personifies England itself for the author. In this work, as in all of Galsworthy’s work, there is an inherent gentle humor and wisdom and optimism. Through the mouth of one of the novel’s heroes, he says: “Would human life—and it is so fragile—would survive despite all our troubles and hardships if it weren’t worth living in the world?”

Вражаюча завершальна частина трилогії!
Книга "На інший берег" є справжнім шедевром, який підсумовує всю трилогію "Кінець глави" та циклу про Форсайти. Автор знову вражає читача своїм вмінням створювати глибокі та багатогранні персонажі, які стають близькими та зрозумілими. Головна героїня, Дінні Черрел, уособлює всі цінності, які ми цінуємо в житті: доброту, відданість та моральність. Ця книга не лише про випробування, з якими стикаються герої, але й про те, як важливо зберігати оптимізм і гумор навіть у найскладніші часи. Голсуорсі майстерно поєднує серйозні теми з легкістю і дотепністю, що робить читання приємним і надихає. Я рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує якісну літературу та хоче зануритися в світ, де людські цінності стоять на першому місці.
