The book “The Nostradamus Error” has several parts that do not violate its integrity due to the unity of style and special rhythmic intonation , permeating the entire book, and the tangible presence of the author in all the events described. The first part, “Mirror of Time,” includes philosophical and biographical essays about the destinies of such writers and poets as Akhmatova, Gazdanov, Shalamov, Brodsky, the three Mandelstams and others. This part is distinguished by its special emotional tension and dynamics. The “Historical Portraits” part includes biographies of outstanding historical characters, written out so colorfully and visibly that they seem to come to life under the author’s pen. The “Kaleidoscope of Memory” part includes memoirs and fiction written in in a plotless-associative manner. The book includes fragments from a poetic anthology compiled by the author, as well as from diaries and notebooks from different years.
