Alfred Jarry (Jarry Alfred, 1873–1907) is a recognized classic of French literature, poet, prose writer, playwright, by the middle of the 20th century, he became a cult figure of the literary and theatrical avant-garde of Europe, the USA and Latin America. The author of the infamous cycle about King Ubu, to which almost all theatrical movements of the 20th century are traced - from Dada and surrealism to the theater of the absurd. The collection includes such works by Alfred Jarry as “Transient Love” and “Absolute Love.”
