The Meridea stories are inspired by the medieval legend “Robert the Devil,” a legend about a knight who became famous for his vices and then embarked on a path of good deeds. However, the Meridea cycle is about other heroes. It all begins in a city, huge by the standards of the Middle Ages, among poor shopkeepers and successful businessmen, aristocrats and vagabonds, knights and warriors of ordinary rank, astrologers and alchemists, righteous people and demons... A poor, illiterate city dweller, young Margarita, lives there - beautiful, but unlucky. Her misadventures became a kind of introduction. Illustrations and cover by the author.
