But in reality, everything is not so scary and hopeless, and mental illness is an imbalance of chemicals in the brain, and not far-fetched “excuses” and not a dangerous “obsession.” Why do I say this so confidently? My name is Ksyusha. I'm 25 years old and I can't cope with my own life. Doctors call it "recurrent depression" and "borderline personality disorder." I went to a psychiatric clinic of my own free will. I tried to tell my story as sincerely and in detail as possible in the hope that I could at least slightly change the attitude of our society towards mental disorders. A diagnosis is not a stigma.
