The works of Tatyana Chekasina, from the smallest short story to large stories and novels, represent prose of great depth. Studies of man, his soul, are presented in the comprehensiveness that is inherent in great Russian literature. This is a serious reading that can turn the reader’s soul upside down, make it better and cleaner, and life happier and more joyful. This is how the author Tatyana Chekasina himself says about her book “Little Parachutist”: “In this book I see a certain collection of parachutists who fly into the sky , fly from the balconies, turning into smoke from a burnt house. To be honest, I am against such paratroopers. It would be better if they lived happily and firmly on earth...” The book contains the author’s best short stories. Each of them contains a completely original view of the world and of man.
