The book “Esoteric Principles of Health and Healing” sets out the basic principles on which the Rosicrucians rely in their healing practice, which is one of the most important applications of their teaching. These principles include the following points: 1. Knowledge of the human body from an esoteric point of view, with the main role given to the blood and endocrine glands, which are specific manifestations of the vital body in the physical vehicle.2. Knowledge of the action of the subtle bodies of man - the vital body, the body of desires and the body of thought.3. Knowledge of the specific characteristics and susceptibility to certain diseases of the body of a particular person, which are caused by his past incarnations.4. Knowledge of astrological influences on a specific person. Approaches to solving health problems from an esoteric point of view make it possible to explain the causes of many disorders, both physical and psychological, and understanding the causes of a disease or disorder, as is known, provides an opportunity for healing. In addition, the correct nutrition and exercises for retrospection and concentration allow the seeker to move steadily along the path of eradicating the very causes of the disease. The book also includes two small works by Max Handel’s closest students concerning the functioning of the endocrine glands. The first work provides detailed information about their structure and role in the body; the second concerns the work of the pituitary gland and pineal gland and their connection with astrological influences. In general, this collection is very useful for doctors and healers, since it contains a lot of valuable material for everyone who is deeply interested in the problems of health, its maintenance and restoration.
