The book by Perm historian O. Leibovich is dedicated to the events and people of the late Stalin era in the Soviet province. He begins his description of events in 1947, from the moment of a turn in domestic policy that affected the broadest strata of Soviet society. The monograph focuses on describing the conflict fields characteristic of that time. The facts that the author mentions on the pages of his book are carefully documented. The bulk of the sources are documents stored in the funds of two Perm archives: the state socio-political archive (GOPAPO) and the state archive (GAPO).
