When Elena Pavlova was just going to get a job in the immunogenetics department of a Prague medical clinic, she met a doctor who was trying to snatch scientific work from the jaws of a mouflon. The doctor managed to save his job, and Elena managed to become a laboratory employee, make friends with a diverse, cheerful team, and at some point start keeping a diary. From this diary this book was born - a collection of funny and instructive stories about good people who know how to work, and relax, and laugh at themselves and those around them. And mouflons - friendly, albeit wild ancestors of domestic sheep - still wander in the thickets around the clinic. And periodically they eat scientific papers, becoming smarter and smarter.
