The description of my book begins with these words. Yes, the quote is known to many who have read the book “A Hero of Our Time” and is not particularly attractive to those who are not going to delve deeper into their emotional experiences, no matter what issue they concern. Alas, society is aimed at purposefully concealing our true feelings, and even more so desires, which, God forbid, once accomplished, often do not bring any benefit to the same society. There is some truth in this. And the other side of the question is this: without exposing sincere experiences, without seeing our own vices, we will not be able to work on ourselves and our own weaknesses.
