The author’s next book is an autobiography, a description of his life. The life path of an officer, scientist, and writer was quite complex and thorny. His attempt to oppose the foundations of the totalitarian regime in the USSR ended tragically. He was forcibly put into a mental hospital. For many years it was under the control of party and other bodies. A distinctive feature of the author is that he always and everywhere, under any circumstances, remained a decent person. He did not change his principles. His credo: “Independent in life. I didn’t grovel before parties, leaders and clerks.”
