We offer readers the most unusual and, perhaps, the most interesting book by the greatest Swiss writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt, which he created over many years. It is written in a genre that still has no name. The writer himself called his brainchild the laconic word “Plots”. Under one cover, Dürrenmatt collected numerous “unwritten things”, combining them into a bizarre collage of memories, reflections, scraps of various fragments, mysteriously leading to other texts, plans, dreams, fantasies. It also included completed works revised by the author; for example, the well-known parable “Winter War in Tibet.” All together it represents a kind of labyrinth or unfinished tower of the imagination, which, like human culture, is forever in the process of construction and will never be completed. For the first time in Russian!
