This is how the idea of India began to take shape in Europe as a mysterious country, full of ancient, outlandish secrets and incomprehensible wisdom. Our book is dedicated to the ancient Indian mythology of the era of the Vedas and Puranas. It combines Vedic and Hindu mythologies, “burdened” with elements of the Dravidians, Jains and other tribes that inhabited the Indian subcontinent.
