The book is an attempt to continue the literary tradition of Edward Lear, Lewis Carroll, Daniil Kharms. The author tells humorous parody parables from the life of Martin Luther, in which the reader will find a transparent allusion to the events and characters of our recent history and modernity. Despite the fact that The book contains real geography (Germany, Italy, Muscovy, Vatican), these lands are no more real than the fabulous Hyperborea and Gordienstadt also found in the book. Events take place from the birth of Luther to the present day. The main characters are Martin Luther, his students, followers and, in general, the entire progressive Protestant community.
