As Stanislaw Lem said in his “Philosophy of Chance,” “within the framework of language one can undertake a variety of experiments and find articulations that produce the impression—sometimes a very strong one—of penetration into the essence, “into the very soul” of certain objects.” So, as an experimenter, in this book I would like to demonstrate those very literary experiments that I carried out during the first ten years of my creative activity. Of course, the most successful of them are collected here. It is not surprising that a large proportion of the collection consists of later and mature works - you always want to share new ones first. And in terms of meaning, the lyrics predominate, since this direction in poetry has always been a priority for me. After all, poetry should be beautiful and melodic, perceived not only by the mind, but, above all, influence the reader’s state of mind. So again we returned to the quote given at the very beginning of this short introduction. And therefore, perhaps, it’s time to leave prose for a while and plunge into the world of poetry, which, I hope, was able to “penetrate the essence” of the selected images and will be able to enter “the very soul,” but not of objects, but of you, dear connoisseurs of poetry!
