The first volume of the collected works of the Ukrainian philosopher and psychologist of the second half of the 19th century Nikolai Yakovlevich Grot includes three works from the Odessa and one from the Moscow periods of his work. The first of them examines the issue of pantheism and Giordano Bruno as its best representative, which represents a historical and philosophical justification for the original philosophical doctrine proposed by Grotto - monodualism. The second represents the further development of monodualism using the example of a metaphysical understanding of the newly discovered law of conservation of energy in the form of an experience in solving the problem of soul and force. The third article is devoted to the role of feelings in human cognition and life. This volume concludes with a book about the main points in the development of new philosophy from the Renaissance to Kant.
