An unusual research vessel without a single crew member arrives on one of the small islands located in the Atlantic Ocean. A police sergeant and a local teacher take on the investigation into the causes of the mysterious death of the crew. They have to find out why the scientists died and learn the secret of their ominous discovery - at a depth of more than three thousand kilometers.
