300 kilometers northeast of Vancouver, among endless forests and beautiful mountains, there is a quiet, unusual and at the same time mysterious place - Lake Wylond. For several decades now, people have been disappearing there without a trace. The main character is looking for his missing brother. Having learned that he was in the village, the hero goes to the lake. And only one old man, who is considered crazy, warns them to get out of this place as soon as possible. He believes that an evil spirit lives in the lake. The group begins their search. They soon realize that the old man's ravings are just a fairy tale compared to what lives in Lake Wylond.
