By order of his superiors, London police inspector Thomas Pitt is investigating a murder and robbery case that dates back three years. Інспектор Томас Пітт — дуже харизматичний персонаж, і його боротьба за справедливість, а також підтримка дружини Шарлотти та її сестри Емілі, роблять історію ще більш захоплюючою. Мене вразила глибина розкриття персонажів, їх мотивації та емоції, що додає сюжету реалістичності. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжнім задоволенням, і я рекомендую її всім, хто любить детективи з елементами драми та романтики. Не можу дочекатися, щоб дізнатися, що чекає на героїв у наступних частинах!
