This book is itself a story - although, no, two stories woven together. The story, written in odd chapters, is a fantastic tale of the Discworld. In even-numbered chapters we will tell the story of the science of Reason (again in the metaphysical sense). Both stories are closely related, and according to the plan should fit each other like a glove and a foot; the scientific history is presented in the form of Very Long Footnotes to the fantasy chapters.
