The novel “Stories Told Yesterday” was first published in 2002 in the magazine “Scarlet Sails”, then twice published in collections (2004 and 2011). In the form of short stories, it tells the story of the Mudrak family trying to free themselves from a family curse. Location: the city of Karasuvbazar (Belogorsk), Crimean region, period of action: from the 30s of the 20th century to 1999. The main characters of the novel are mother Lisa, her daughters Dasha and Lida, son Grisha, sorcerer and necromancer Vecheslav Mudrak. The drawings for the book were made by the internationally famous Crimean Tatar artist Ramis Netovkin. On August 25, 2005, at the 3rd International Ternopil Book Forum, the book “Stories Told Yesterday” was recognized as “Best Book of 2005” in the category “universality of artistic worldview”, its author became a laureate of the Ukrainian Literary Prize named after V. Korolenko (2005) , Prize of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in the category “Literature. Works for children and youth" (2009). The collection "Stories Told Yesterday" is written in simple, intelligible language and has entertaining plots. The content of the book is deeply patriotic, teaches you to love and respect your homeland, family, friends, orients consciousness towards high moral values.
