“The Eternal Youth” is a document of the times, written day after day by the famous poet of the Russian Abroad Yuri Sofiev (1899–1975), who in the 50s. returned to his homeland from France and settled in Alma-Ata (Kazakhstan), and the Diary was started in exile in the 20s, and reflects the dramatic events of the 20th century, of which Yu. Sofiev was an eyewitness and participant. Fate brought him together with outstanding people of Russian culture. Among them are I. Bunin, A. Kuprin, M. Tsvetaeva, K. Balmont, D. Merezhkovsky, Z. Gippius, B. Zaitsev, I. Shmelev, G. Ivanov, V. Khodasevich, G. Adamovich, A. Remizov , O. Sergius Bulgakov, Mother Maria (Skobtseva), philosophers Berdyaev and Fedotov, artist Bilibin, great singer Chaliapin, and many others. Publication by Nadezhda Chernova. Circulation 50 copies.
