The book offered to the reader will introduce you to the basic concepts and practices of Northern magic, namely Scandinavian, Germanic and Icelandic. Northern magic is the ancient religion of the Germanic and Scandinavian tribes. It is often called runic magic. Runes are the oldest symbols that were used by ancient priests and magicians to perform magical actions, make predictions and make talismans. Northern magic is a system of perceiving the world that is different from the peoples of the south and east. In the harsh climatic conditions of the north, people had a different philosophy. Northern magic involves several directions. One of its main directions is trot. Trot is the way in which the seeker learns about the gods and goddesses and the cultural traditions of the people. The main purpose of the trot is to find the right way of action and existence, to find harmony and bring it to life. The second branch is the runic galdor. In Galdor, runes are always used in one form or another. This is a special magical technique with the help of which a magician changes the inner or outer world of his own will. God Odin is one of the great masters of this kind. Seith is the third branch of northern magic. Seith has nothing to do with runes, although it uses various signs and symbols along with other techniques. Seith's followers fall into a trance and thus comprehend the will of the gods. Like galdor, seit is a special magical technique with which the magician changes the internal or external world of his own will.
