Reflecting on the influence that Fichte’s program of new national education could have in the Russian educated class as a means of reviving folk originality in life and thought, in literature and philosophy, in public life and popular morality, we draw attention to one writer who acted in the same era... Sergei Nikolaevich Glinka, publisher of the Russian Messenger magazine. He calls for leaving gallomania in the language, in fashions and customs, returning to the old national way of life, rejecting destructive foreign philosophy, the only difference is that it is replaced by the paternal Orthodox worldview, but the most interesting thing is that in his journal he develops the thought about the connection of language with the moral view of the people. Only a part of the educated public, far from practical politics, could hear the true pathos of the philosopher, consciously turned to the problems of national culture, the spiritual identity of the nation - a patriotic public without political pretensions.
