The book is a collection of works by the Indian thinker and democrat Swami Vivekananda (1863–1902). His works present a kind of encyclopedic presentation of various yogas, which are effective methods of introducing spiritual and religious experience, representing specific methods of mental and spiritual self-knowledge, self-improvement and self-realization. “Raja Yoga” is compiled from the recordings of Vivekananda’s lectures in New York in 1895–1896 Published in Russian in 1906, 1911. “Jnana Yoga” was compiled from the recordings of Vivekananda’s lectures in New York in 1895–1896.
