The reference manual outlines the basic laws of thermodynamics of ideal gases and mixtures used in ventilation and air conditioning technology, provides definitions of the main parameters of moist air and calculation dependencies for their calculation with examples of calculations. The construction of processes of heat and humidity treatment of moist air on the J-d diagram is considered in detail. Tables of saturated water vapor pressure values above the surface of ice and clean water are given, as well as moisture content values of saturated humid air at barometric pressures of 99 and 101 kPa.
J-d diagrams of moist air for the temperature range from -40 to +60°С and moisture content values up to 30 g/kg St. at barometric pressure of 99 and 101 kPa. When constructing J-d diagrams, the J and d scales are chosen in such a way as to obtain a wide working field for constructing the processes of changes in the parameters of moist air most characteristic of ventilation and air conditioning systems of residential, public and industrial buildings.
Used in the reference manual some calculated dependencies and tabular materials from the ASHRAE reference book.
This reference guide is the first attempt in domestic practice to systematize the definitions and calculated dependencies of the main parameters of moist air and bring them into line with international standards.
The reference manual is intended for specialists in the design, adjustment and operation of ventilation and air conditioning systems and students of higher educational institutions.
