The novel “Disturbance of the Ashes” is written in the form of an action-packed fantasy detective story. The main character of the novel, a former detective fired from the criminal investigation department, is invited to work as the head of the security service at a research institute run by some kind of scientific-spiritual order. The purpose of the order is the practical implementation of the ideas of the Russian philosopher Nikolai Fedorov, that is, neither more nor less, the scientific implementation of immortality and the resurrection of all dead generations. The hero shows considerable ingenuity in order to complete the task assigned to him and at the same time stay alive.

When an operator, nicknamed Crocodile, who was fired from the criminal investigation department, was offered the position of head of the security service of a secret institute, he agreed almost without hesitation. But an experienced detective has to show remarkable ingenuity in order to fulfill the mission entrusted to him by his employer - a certain scientific-spiritual order secretly developing a program for resurrecting the dead - and at the same time save his own life.
