Hellenistic skepticism, represented not only by Pyrrhonism, characterized primarily by “internal emigration”, a peculiar “existential” turn of philosophical thought, individualistic and eudaimonistic orientation, largely anticipated modern epistemological, ethical and socio-philosophical ideas, and its representatives, considered in a broad historical context will turn out not to be “marginal” thinkers of their era, but to be real prophets in world philosophical thought. Hellenistic skepticism, which can be represented not only as pyrrhonism, being characterized first of all by “internal emigration”, out-of-the- way “existential” turn of philosophical thought, individualistic and eudemonistic direction, in many ways anticipated modern epistemological, ethical and socio-philosophical ideas.
