John Lilly, a world-renowned biologist, famous for his study of the minds of dolphins, is the author of many books, including The Cyclone Center, published by Sofia. He devoted many years to studying loneliness and isolation in confined spaces. The author uses ideas obtained through extrapolation and processing of modern computer theory to explain the subjective aspects of the functioning of the human brain and software control of the psyche. The methodological foundations of the biocomputer approach he proposes are discussed. The results of research and self-analysis are presented.
