What God does each of us believe in? Joyful or suppressive, giving freedom or punishing? “God cannot cause harm, take revenge or punish, because He is love,” says the famous Greek preacher Archimandrite Andrew (Konanos). And it is how we respond to His love that makes us Christians. Do we learn from Him to yield, have pity and forgive others in ordinary life, without dividing it into spiritual and everyday life, or do we remain “people on display”, only formally playing the role of believers?
