The work of a team of authors presents the results of a comprehensive empirical study of the crises and difficulties that an individual faces at the initial stages of his professional activity. The specifics of crisis experiences at the stage of choosing a profession, studying in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions (from 1st year to graduation) and in the first years of professional activity are examined in detail. Much attention is paid to the analysis of factors influencing the successful overcoming of crises. The features of external and internal resources of the individual that contribute to successful professional development in adolescence, adolescence and early adulthood are described. The monograph presents the author's original methods for diagnosing life orientations, crisis experiences, and indicators of successful professional development of an individual.
