The Golden Verses are a set of moral and ethical standards of the Pythagorean ether, one of the most ancient and mysterious secret societies in human history, which served as a prototype for the organization of the Order of Freemasons or Freemasons. Based on this code, the outstanding French researcher and polyglot Antoine Fabre d'Olivet (1767–1825) creates his original concept of a synthetic philosophy of history, which he develops in his next fundamental work, “Philosophical History of the Human Race.” Using the commentary method of Hierocles, Fabre d'Olivet, initially driven by the mysterial ancient pantheism, brilliantly criticizes Kantianism, as the main direction of philosophical thought of his time, and ultimately comes to the biblical perception of the uncreated Creator. "The Golden Poems of Pythagoras" by Antoine Fabre d'Olivet is published in Russian for the first time.
