The textbook is written in accordance with the approximate content of the subject “Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture.” It is focused on two content lines: the Orthodox way of life and the moral culture of Orthodoxy. It is the final one in a series of textbooks by these authors: the first textbook, “Good Lessons and Instructions,” for students in grades 4–5, the second, “Lessons in Philokalia,” for high school students, and the final, “The Orthodox Way of Life,” for high school students and youth. It is possible to use the manual in public and Sunday schools, in the system of additional education, and for individual reading.
