Private Kolya Lavochkin, better known in the magical world as Baron Nicholas the Mighty, boldly goes to the very heart of the Black Kingdom to fight the Lord of Darkness, Dunkelonkel. An evil sorcerer, obsessed with the idea of a permanent magical revolution, has created an army of homunculi, clones of Lavochkin, and is going to use it to take over the world, and if that doesn’t work, then destroy it altogether. Kolya is helped by his faithful companions: ensign Palvanich Dubovov and court magician Till Vseznaigel. But even they cannot cope with the sophisticated innovations of technomagic generated by the evil genius of Dunkelonkel.
