Vladia is a middle land, stretching its borders between Oridonia in the west, Red Earth in the east and Velikovodie in the south - endless and multifaceted. Many peoples inhabit it, many miracles lie hidden in its belly. One of the greatest is the inability of the most powerful element - fire - to take possession of this earth. Not a single flame, not even a spark, broke out in the vastness of Vladiya for many eons. This was the will of the Many-Faced One, the great god who created the first inhabitants of Vladia and gave them unprecedented power. Having turned into magicians, the Brightest, as they called themselves, became proud of their powers and wanted to stand on a par with the great god. There was a battle for power over existence, and Vladiya - the battle arena - burned like a fire. Everyone was burned in that flame, and there were no winners or losers. The Many-Faced One realized his mistake, mourned those who died from his omissions, and gave Vladiya a new life without fire and great magicians. He imprisoned those of the Brightest who survived the battle in the deep dungeons of the mountains, placing guards over them, called douven. So he hoped to never repeat the same mistake again. But the Brightest did not accept defeat. Epochs succeeded one another and lulled the eyes of the Many-Faced One. The great god did not notice the darkness that crawled out of the dungeons of the Douven Mountains and spread in thin streams throughout the known world. The first to encounter evil spirits were the Ludomars - residents of the most remote and dangerous part of Vladia - the Black Forests. Hermits, hermits, unsociable hunters, the Ludomars lived alone in the thicket and without thinking about what fate the gods had prepared for them. The son of the Jumper was no different from other forest hunters. His measured life, accustomed to dangers, is disrupted by a series of unpleasant and significant encounters, strange phenomena and signs. The last thing the ludomar wants is to find an explanation for them, but the cycle of events dramatically changes his life and drags him into the abyss from which there is no return to the past.
