The author's journey through the deserts of the Balkhash region, the northern shore of Balkhash and the uninhabited islands of the lake is described. A description of nature is given, interesting facts from the life of insects, reptiles, birds, and animals are told. In addition, the author describes unknown archaeological sites, rock paintings, ancient mounds, and simple astronomical structures for determining solstices and equinoxes found by the author.
