The famous Israeli writer Amos Oz was born in 1939 in Jerusalem. He is the author of twenty-two books, which have been translated into thirty-four languages. The novels “My Michael”, “Until Death”, “Black Box”, “Knowing a Woman” were published in Russian. Before us is a new book by Amos Oz - “A Tale of Love and Darkness”. Love and darkness are two forces at work in this autobiographical work written like a gripping novel. In 2005, Amos Oz was awarded one of the most prestigious world awards - the Goethe Prize.
