The action of the novel is based on various traditions, legends and epics of the peoples of the world, as well as many unique texts. It tells the story of the historical visit to Jerusalem by the Queen of Sheba, which occurred three thousand years ago. This visit is given special attention in all religions, but the visit itself, like its main characters, is shrouded in many secrets, myths and legends. For centuries, no woman has aroused so much hatred and admiration, as some demonized her, and some revered her as a saint, but despite all this, the Queen of Sheba still remains the most mysterious woman in world history. But in this book, based on historical facts and archaeological finds of the last century, this visit reveals a completely different side. Some ancient books and legends are also taken as a basis, one of which is the Ethiopian “Kebra Negast” (“Book of the Glory of Kings”). According to legend, the Queen of Sheba, who in Ethiopian sources is called Makeda (“Fiery”), fell in love not with the king, but with one of his confidants in the palace. This story is of great importance not only for the Ethiopian royal dynasty, originating from Menelik, the son of the Queen of Sheba, but also found its echoes in the main legend of the Illuminati, Templars and Freemasons. In these secret societies, she is given a central place, and the legend itself is called “great” by initiates, since it speaks of a great Master, the founder of the order of the enlightened. Despite the fact that this visit took place in the 10th century BC. e., he still has a significant influence on the course of world history. The ancient Ethiopian chronicles directly indicate that King Solomon himself gave the Ark of the Covenant to his firstborn and rightful heir, Menelik. But some other sources say that the prince stole the Ark, which endowed its owner with unprecedented power, which the Jews and the rulers of all civilizations have been searching for for three millennia to no avail. The pages of this book tell us who the legendary chosen one of the queen was, what lies ahead the main characters and whether the lovers will be able to escape the wrath of the king.
