When a top secret programme of implanting harrowing memories into innocent people comes to light, neurosurgeon Tom McCarthy is literally caught in the crossfire. Whilst McCarthy looks forward to a three day weekend, his office is suddenly raided by two Department of Defense investigators bent on arresting him for a crime he didn't commit. Книга "Смертельно неправильно" вразила мене своєю динамічністю та інтригуючим сюжетом. Від самого початку читання я відчувала, як занурююся у світ, де кожен крок головного героя, нейрохірурга Тома Маккарті, стає справжнім викликом. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера та наукової фантастики, створюючи атмосферу напруги та невизначеності. Сюжет розвивається стрімко, і я не могла відірватися від книги, поки не дізналася, як закінчиться ця небезпечна гра в кішки-мишки. Персонажі прописані дуже детально, і їхні переживання викликають співчуття. Особливо сподобалася динаміка між Томом та доктором Сарою Гамільтон, їхня співпраця та боротьба за виживання в умовах, коли довіри немає. Книга піднімає важливі питання про етику в медицині та корупцію в системі, що робить її не лише захоплюючою, а й глибокою. Рекомендую всім, хто любить напружені трилери з елементами наукової фантастики!
