When you wake up and can’t remember yesterday, and then realize with horror that even your name is covered in darkness, you involuntarily think that it’s time to stop using alcohol. But when the understanding comes that besides the name and yesterday there is absolutely nothing left in the memory - that’s when panic sets in. You can ask those around you “who am I?” and most likely they will answer you, but who said that this will be a truthful answer? You need to ask those who know. But it’s not a fact that they will answer truthfully. And if they answer, then only before taking your life for the simple reason that you are another frag, a new ability, or just a grain of experience. You need to survive. Just survive in the world of the Continent. Where there are no right and wrong. And there are only constantly hungry creatures and a bunch of immune ones, fighting for life every second.
